Wood preservatives. Determination of the protective effectiveness against marine borers
This European Standard specifies a marine test method for the determination of the relative effectiveness of wood preservatives applied by vacuum/pressure impregantion or other processes giving complete penetration in order to prevent attac of timber in sea-water by marine wood-boring organisms. The protective effect is assessed in realtion to that of a reference preservative applied by a standard treatment.
