Marking of general purpose industrial valves

This European Standard specifies the marking of general purpose industrial valves. It gives the description of the mandatory markings and of supplementary markings which may be necessary and states the manner of applying the markings, viz. on the body, on a flange, or on an identification plate. Markings of the body may be integral with the body or on a plate, distinct from the identification plate. Markings on the body may be integral with the body or on a plate, distinct from the identification plate mentioned above and securely fixed to the body.
