Metallic materials - Tube - Ring-expanding test (ISO 8495:1998)

Acest standard specifica metoda de încercare la largire a inelelor prelevate din tevi, folosind un dorn conic care largeste epruveta pâna la rupere, în scopul evidentierii defectelor superficiale si interne. De asemenea aceasta metoda se utilizeaza pentru aprecierea capacitatii de deformare plastica a tevilor. Acest standard se aplica tevilor cu diametrul exterior între (18...150) mm si grosimea de perete între (2...16) mm .
