Non-electrical equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres - Part 6: Protection by control of ignition source 'b'

This EN specifies a type of protection for non-electrical equipment which can be applied to equipment of categories 2 and 1. By means of mechanical or electrical operating control or monitoring devices, effective ignition sources are avoided. The standard covers the basic requirements for the design and the concept of application of this type of protection.
