Prezentul standard cuprinde prescripţiile privind influenţele instalaţiilor electrice de înaltă tensiune, de la 1 kV până la 750 kV, frecvenţă 50 Hz, asupra liniilor de telecomunicaţii învecinate, în vederea stabilirii coexistenţei acestora, prin realizarea măsurilor de protecţie împotriva efectelor periculoase pentru persoane, avariilor şi diminuării calităţii transmisiilor de telecomunicaţii.
