Prezentul standard stabileşte metodele de determinare a rezistenţei la stropire (ploaie artificială) a materialelor textile. Metodele se aplică îndeosebi materialelor textile hidrofuge sau impermeabile destinate confecţiilor pentru ploaie, vânt, sport, prelate foi de cort, umbrele, etc.
