This standard specifies requirements for flexibly jointed vitrified clay pipes for the construction of pipelines by pipe jacking techniques including micro-tunnelling, pipe-eating, pipe bursting and where appropriate for slip-lining. Where this standard provides for different strength classes the specifiers/purchasers may select according to their requirments.
