Acest amendament SR EN 60529:1995/A2 prezintă o nouă metodă de încercare a carcaselor aparatelor, prin aplicarea unui jet de apă cu presiune mare şi temperatură ridicată, în scopul de a verifica un grad de protecţie nou IPX9. Acest amendament se utilizează împreună cu SR EN 60529:1995 şi SR EN 60529:1995/A1:2003.
