This European Standard is applicable to the construction and testing of drains and sewers normally buried in the ground and normally operating under gravity. The construction of pipelines operating under pressure is covered by this European Standard together with prEN 805 as appropriate. This European Standard is applicable to drains and sewers lait in trenches, under embankments or above ground.
