Acest amendament se utilizează împreună cu SR EN ISO 5395-1:2014 care stabileşte terminologia şi metodele comune de încercare pentru verificarea cerinţelor de securitate, pentru cositorile de gazon rotative şi cilindrice, echipate cu motor cu ardere internă, incluzând tipurile cu operator pedestru (cu sau fără sulky) şi cu operator purtat.
