This European Standard lists visual strength grades, species and sources of timber, and specifies the strength classes from EN 338, to which they are assigned. Note: For the grades, species and sources included, there is long experience of use and/or satisfactory test data. The sources listed are therefore largely determined by existing commercial practice.
