Railway applications - Ride comfort for passengers - Measurement and evaluation

This European Prestandard specifies a method for quantifiying th effects of carbody movements on Ride comfort for passengers ("Comfort"). This scope of the standard is limited to public railway services; the standard includes railway vehicles designated for carrying passengers travelling on railway lines,including secondarty and suburban lines; this documen can be used as a guide for other railways vehicles, for example locomotives, metros, trams, etc. This standard applies to passengers in generally good health.
