This European standard applies to continuously hot-rolled uncoated flat products with a maximum width of 2200 mm of non-alloy and alloy steels including stainless steels in accordance with table 1. This European standard also applies to hot-rolled strip for cold rolling. This European standard does not apply to hot-rolled strip rolled in widths < 600 mm (see EURONORM 48).
