Execution of steel structures - Part 1: General rules and rules for buildings
This European Standard gives requirements for execution of steel structures in order to ensure an adequate level of mechanical resistance and stability, serviceability and durability. This European Standard specifies requirements for execution which are intended to be consistent with requirements for Design of steel structures as given in ENV 1993-1-1, i.e. structures not susceptible tofatigue. The standard is also applicable to steel components in composite structures.
