Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmospheres -- Part 15: Type of protection "n"

Acest standard stabileste cerintele pentru constructia, încercarea si marcarea aparaturii electrice de grupa II cu tip de protectie n, destinata utilizarii numai în arii unde atmosfere explozive de gaze, vapori si ceturi nu este probabil sa apara sau daca apar, este probabil sa o faca rar sau numai pentru o perioada scurta de timp. Acest standard este aplicabil aparaturii electrice care nu genereaza scântei si de asemenea aparaturii cu parti sau circuite care genereaza arcuri sau scântei sau care au suprafete fierbinti care, daca nu sunt protejate într-unul din modurile specificate în acest standard, pot fi capabile sa aprinda o atmosfera exploziva înconjuratoare
