Fixed firefighting systems - Components for gas extinguishing systems - Part 9: Requirements and test methods for special fire detectors

This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for for special fire detectors, other than fire detectors covered by EN 54, used inert gas- or halo-carbon-gas fire extinguishing systems. Special fire detectors are heat sensitive devices, including a mounting device, designed to react at a predetermined temperature by: - bursting of a glass bulb; - melting of a fusible element.
