SR EN 13775-1:2004

This European Standard specifies requirements for measuring freight wagons and bogies. This ensures that the measuring methods are applied in accordance with uniform criteria. It applies to new and modified freight wagons and bogies. Provisions going beyond the scope of these requirements should be agreed upon by the contracting parties involved. The measuring methods relate to the whole or parts of the underframes with or without add-ons if the geometrical structure does not permit anything else. Where appropriate, other measuring methods not specified here are necessary and should be specified in each individual case. This applies as appropriate to bogies.
