Transportable gas cylinders. Compatibility of cylinder and valve materials with gas contents. Part 2: Non-metallic materials.

This standard is intended as a guide to the selection of a suitable material and is connected with compatibility of non-metallic materials with gases which may be in the cylinders or the cylinder valves. This standard may be helpful for composite and laminated materials. Other aspects such as quality of delivered gas are not considered. Only the influence of the gas in changing the material and mechanical properties is considered (for example chemical reaction or change in physical state).
