Eurocode 3: Design of steel structures - Part 2: Steel bridges
(1)P This Part 2 of ENV 1993 gives a general basis for the structural design of steel bridges and of the steel parts of composite bridges. It gives provisions that supplement, modify or supersede the equivalent provisions given in ENV 1993-1-1, to which reference shall also be made. (2) This Part also gives detailed application rules that are mainly applicable to commonly used types of bridge. Where the applicability of these rules is limited, for practical reason or due to simplifications, their use and any limits of applicability are explained in the text.
